Recently, AUO held its 2025 Global Supplier Conference under the theme “Chain of Partnership, Co-Creating the Future,” bringing together over 300 supply chain partners from North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
At the event, Refond Optoelectronics was honored with the “Co-Creation Partners Award” in recognition of its outstanding innovation and long-term collaboration with AUO. Refond’s CTO, Mr. Zhang Jiaxian, attended the conference and accepted the award on behalf of the company.
During the conference, AUO showcased a range of its latest innovations — among them, the 16" Wide Color Gamut CID automotive display, which features Refond’s Mini LED COB backlight solution.
This solution integrates quantum dot film technology for enhanced color performance, achieving NTSC 110% / DCI-P3 >99% coverage with vivid and lifelike visuals.
Built on Refond’s Mini LED COB technology, the design enables a slimmer module, higher local dimming zones, and an ultra-high 200,000:1 contrast ratio, while also reducing power consumption — perfectly aligning with AUO’s vision for low-carbon and sustainable development.
This award underscores AUO’s high recognition of Refond’s product innovation, technical excellence, and service capability, marking another milestone in their long-term strategic partnership.
Refond’s Mini LED technology has been successfully mass-produced and applied across consumer electronics, TVs, and automotive displays, earning strong trust and acclaim from global partners.
